Nix neues, aber einfach als Update: Involatus Carrier Consult GmbH chartered Olympus Airways for weekly Paderborn-Gran Canaria service with A319 aircraft in summer 2018 (Aerosieger, 26-Mar-2018). According to the booking system on Involatus Carrier Consult's official website, the charter service commences from 01-Apr-2018 and the A319 will be replaced by an A321 in the peak season.
So sehr man sich über jede weitere Verstärkung freut: Es wäre besser es würden mehr Charter mit an PAD stationierten Maschinen stattfinden. Das bedeutete: mehr Zuverlässigkeit, mehr Pünktlichkeit und natürlich bessere Abflugzeiten. Trümpfe, die auch die anderen Stärken von PAD noch verbessern. Nämlich sehr kurze Wege bei auch noch perfekter Verkehrsanbindung, günstigen Parkplätzen, etc... reibungslosen Prozessen und ein Flughafen, den die Menschen wirklich überproportional hoch als ihren Heimatflughafen anerkennen und der ein gutes Image hat.
Am besten wäre natürlich man könnte noch eine weitere Airline überzeugen, den schleichenden Wegfall der AB-Stationierung zu ersetzen - auch mit bisher noch ausgesetzten Einzelplatzverkauf. So eine Airline könnte auch Involatus eine noch bessere Qualität bieten. Die Reisenden würden es goutieren. Germania halte ich für den heissesten Kandidat oder ab 2019 auch eine Eurowings mit einer neuen Strategie für die Fläche ... oder, oder ... Die Hoffnungen, dass Laudamotion noch an den Platz kommt, sind ja leider immer weniger begründet.

So einen Versuch gab es doch bereits vor nicht allzu langer Zeit mit SunExpress Deutschland (XG). Deren Gewinnung habe ich seinerzeit für eine große Chance für PAD gehalten, weil man damit neben dem Chartercarrier 5P eine unabhängige Airline mit eigenständigem Programm gehabt hätte. Leider hat das nicht geklappt.
Ein grundlegendes Problem dürfte sein, dass der Markt in PAD aus der Sicht potenzieller neuer Anbieter schon ziemlich besetzt ist. Die Standards sind prinzipiell abgedeckt und die ganz großen Veranstalter chartern bereits bei 5P. Bzgl. der angesprochenen Anbieter EW und ST denke ich Folgendes: EW wird sich aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach auf größere Airports konzentrieren und kleinere allenfalls mal von extern anfliegen, wie derzeit mit PMI. Für ST müssten sich wohl noch größere Lücken auftun (wie z.B. beim Wegfall von AB am FMO, oder später von AB/HG in NUE oder TXL). Zudem fliegt ST gerade bei kleinen Airports gerne überwiegend konkurrenzlos. Vermutlich ist es nicht allzu interessant für sie, mit einem Programm, das dem von 5P sehr ähnlich wäre, dann gegen 5P anzufliegen.
Weil schon gerade über zusätzliche Aerlin diskutiert wird. Hat jemand etwas neues zum Thema Adria Aerways gehört. Der März ist so gut wie erledigt und man hört nichts. Diese Aerlin könnte den Flughafen weiter bringen.
Buchbar ist noch nichts. Wenn ich es richtig sehe, sind aber auch die Flüge ab NUE - welches eine Laudamotion-Base werden soll - noch nicht buchbar.
In den nächsten Tagen sollte da mehr kommen, die Flüge befinden sich in der Finalen Planungsphase ab Juni soll es ab FMO losgehen, PAD denke ich dann auch zum gleichen Zeitpunkt.

Also doch! Eigentlich würde man den drei Flüge ab PAD im Sommer auslasten. Jetzt muss man in PAD schon mit einem Flug zufrieden sein. Trotz der EW-Angebotserweiterung. Der Markt ist wie oben ja auch beschrieben sehr nachfragestark ab PAD. Laudamotion wird mit vollen Flugzeugen und sehr guten Erlösen rechnen dürfen. Die Kapazität dürfte sich schnell verkaufen. Allerdings dann vielleicht nicht ausreichend sein um die schon besseren Vorjahresgesamtzahlen bei den PAX zu steigern. Auch falls ADRIA im Sommer an den Start geht...

Adria Airways has held a ceremony to mark the official launch of seven new previously announced direct services. Direct flights to Sofia began on Sunday, 25 March and will be followed in the next few days by the first flights to Geneva and Bucharest.
April will see the reintroduction of services between Ljubljana and Hamburg (starting on 1 April), while passengers will be able to fly to Düsseldorf and Dubrovnik from 26 April and 27 April respectively. Flights from Ljubljana to the last of the seven new destinations, the Croatian island of Brač, will begin on 28 April.
"It is an honour to be able to begin this day on such a prosperous note," said Adria Airways CEO Holger Kowarsch at the ceremony marking the official launch of the new services. "With these new direct services, Adria Airways will connect Slovenia to 25 European destinations, while from many of the airports we fly to our passengers will be able to continue their journeys around the world. I believe that our extensive network of flights will satisfy the needs of even the most demanding passengers, including business travellers planning trips in multiple countries."
Fraport Slovenia managing director Zmago Skobir also expressed his satisfaction at the launch of the new services: "For air travellers and our airport, every new service represents a special opportunity. Fraport Slovenia welcomes Adria's decision to introduce services to new destinations from Ljubljana Airport. This increases the accessibility of the airport, which as well as improving travel opportunities for domestic passengers will bring in more foreign travellers – both business travellers and tourists. We hope that the new Adria services will be immediately successful and will find a permanent place in the network of flights operated from our airport."
The new Adria services were declared officially open by infrastructure minister Peter Gašperšič, who commented: "At the Ministry of Infrastructure we are creating new opportunities for air carriers through new air transport agreements that are the basis for the establishment of scheduled air services. These agreements not only allow the introduction of scheduled services, they make it possible for carriers to conclude agreements such as code-sharing arrangements. The most recent bilateral agreements we have signed are with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar and with China. Good connections between Slovenia and the rest of the world are of key importance for the economy, particularly for tourism. Although Adria is no longer Slovenian-owned, we still consider it our flag carrier, and its success is therefore very important to us."
SUMMER TIMETABLE
At the end of March, Adria Airways switches to its summer timetable. As well as introducing new destinations, the summer timetable increases the frequency of flights on existing services.
This summer it will once again be possible to fly from Ljubljana to Manchester. Flights to Kiev are also set to continue. With more than 200 scheduled flights a week and very short waiting times between connecting flights, Adria offers a comfortable and convenient way to travel.
FLEET
Adria Airways is enlarging its aircraft fleet in line with its business strategy. Two new Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft are due to join the fleet by May 2018, meaning that Adria will have a total of three Airbus A319, nine Bombardier CRJ900 and three Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft with which to operate its scheduled services.
The increase in the size of the Adria Airways fleet also means an increase in the number of employees. Adria currently employs 426 people, compared to 416 at the end of the year.
Volotea laut Flughafenseite am 01.05.18 und am 08.05.18 jeweils nach Malta, am 08.05.18 und 15.05.18 aus Malta. Interessant daran ist, daß am 08.05. der Umlauf PAD - MLA - PAD geflogen werden soll.
Allerdings auch nichts von den SAAB 2000. Entweder haben die ihre Pläne geändert, oder die Probleme mit der SAAB sind noch nicht gelöst.
